We believe a studio's portfolio should be its best work. Another-journey.com isn't just a list of projects — it's a statement about what we value: performance, craft, and attention to detail. Every interaction, every animation, every pixel was considered. The site itself is a case study in modern web development.

How we built it
The concept started with a question: what if the portfolio felt alive? We explored generative backgrounds, colour-cycling accents, and physics-based interactions before landing on the current design — a dark, minimal canvas where content emerges through motion and the accent colour continuously shifts through the spectrum.
The fluid WebGL background was custom-built to run at 60fps on mobile while using minimal GPU resources. Framer Motion handles scroll-triggered reveals, magnetic buttons, and 3D card tilts. The colour system uses CSS @property to animate custom properties, creating the seamless hue cycling that gives the site its signature feel.
Every component was designed for performance. Images are lazy-loaded and optimised, animations use transforms and opacity for GPU acceleration, and the entire site ships as a static Next.js build with zero runtime JavaScript for content sections. The result: a perfect 100 Lighthouse score and sub-second load times.
